Today's Datan from the
Darogan speaks of a
Masculine Spirit, with changing
Pelider in the second and fifth
positions, moving to
Spirit-seeking Energy.
There is a lot of Spirit-seeking/Masculine Energy in our house today. George has been filled with curiosity about the Madaw service yesterday morning, although he is exhausted since he normally doesn't stay up all night and go to work the next day. Frankly, I was surprised that he went to work at all, but having missed a day of work on Monday I can't say I'm surprised that he wanted to at least put in a perfunctory appearance at his office. When he came home he went straight to bed and slept until 8:00, when I fixed him some supper and asked how his day had gone. He was actually quite happy, although he had to admit that he couldn't concentrate on his job at all. He said he was filled with poetic images that he simply had to write down, so he was writing poetry at his meetings instead of taking notes. "Fortunately," he said, "there wasn't much going on in those meetings. I often doze off and no-one notices. That's why I always sit in this chair that is partially hidden by a potted tree in the back corner." Throughout the evening, he would ask one question after another, focusing alternatively on the Madaw service and then my conversation with my mother. It was the first time that he had directory encounter both experiences. With respect to my mother, he just couldn't get over how young and beautiful she looked. He had only known her as a middle aged woman over the last several years of her life, although he had seen pictures of her when she was younger. He kept saying that "she looks just like she does in those old pictures". I enjoyed hearing him describe his reactions to her. It reminded me of my earliest conversations with her and it also served as a testimony to the reality of my own experience. Until now I was half tempted to doubt my own experience. "Does this mean that we will look young again when we go to Addewid?" he asked, almost childlike. I nodded, then he said, "that means that we can be young together, huh?" Now he was downright giddy with excitement. Then he noticed the sadness that was welling up inside me. "What's wrony Davy? Did I say something wrong?" I shook my head and struggled to find a good way to talk about some of the more difficult aspects of life within Addewid. I was all too aware of how much he wished that we could have been young together, especially since he is so much older than me. "Georgie, dear," I whispered, almost crying, "I'm not sure if we will ever see each other when we are in Addewid. Don't forget that it is far bigger than you could ever imagine and there have been an estimated 105 billion people resurrected there. The chances of finding a specific person is very slim, unless you know the Addewin name of someone and you have access to a Charmsee with a Ceffyltir, and even then it can be difficult, if not impossible, especially now that the Alliance of Truth has become so powerful there. "I guess what I'm saying is that we can't assume to much about our relationship when we get there. We need to make sure that we enjoy the time we have together now, before we get there."
