Today's Datan from the
Darogan speaks of a
Vivid Dreams, with changing
Pelider in the first, fifth, six and
seventh positions, changing to
Spirit Seeking Harmony.
Today is the last day of my thirtyfirst year and I am filled with Vivid Images of Spirit Seeking Harmony, but I would not be here without the Spirit Embracing Harmony of my mother, whose death I also remember tomorrow. This year's Winter Solstice occurs at 2:04 tomorrow morning (12/22). Since I was born 2:12AM on the 12/22/72 and mother was killed at 2:32AM on 12/22/99 I will be going through the full range of emotions from grief, to joy to somber reflection. George and I will hold our usual vigil at two in the morning and perform our annual ritual. At exactly 2:04 we will light a candle for the current Solstice, symbolically welcoming the return of the sun. At 2:12AM we will light a candle for me, in celebration of my life and at 2:32AM we will light three candles, one for each of the Blessed Three: my mother, Rita and Janet.
