Today's Datan from the
Darogan speaks of a
Awakening Presence, with changing
Pelider in the fifth
and sixth positions, moving to
Disturbing Presence.
As I walked across the Franklin Bridge I looked down upon the seemingly still water of the Mississippi. As has been frequently the case lately, a flock of geese was taking its morning position below the bridge, facing the north, this time lined up in a row, evoking thoughts of Isa from the Futhark. It was an icy day, just below freezing and I could feel the Runic energy of ancient seasons speaking to me. The geese seemed to be contemplating their next move, as if wondering whether or not this was the day that would push them further south. Their indecison ached within my breast as I moved forward a few steps between each glance down at them. Their dark bodies ever so gently melted into the dungeon gray calling to them from the depths of the river, and the drowsy oaks and elms looming above reached out in grim reflections, pushing them slowly beneath the sky.
