| The Cedaw had no Natural presence on Earth, but they did have a Supernatural presence through the efforts of Diawl and other Cedawai, who were sent to Earth for specific missions on behalf of the Intredu, Nerth and other Henin. |

The Cedawai were originally created by
Cren to guard Inniscren,
but their intelligence, strength, dexterity and ability to fly made them
useful in many other ways.
They live in caverns hewn out of the highest elevations of the Athivon Mountains on Inniscren. They donot have genitals, nor do they express any affection for others, but they do have strong cravings for power and intense physical experiences. One such physical experience is the pleasure that comes from eating the substance called cwant. Cwant is so addictive to the Cedawai that whomever is in possession of it can literally turn a Cedaw into a loyal servant, at least as long as the supply of Cwant lasts. For this reason, individuals (or groups of individuals will pay many Nadred Rings for a bag of Cwant. For the most part though, the Cedawai are fiercely loyal to Cren and will do anything it takes to accomplish what she asks, for to obey Cren and please her is to reap rich rewards. To the Cedawai, the greatest reward (outside of Cwant) is to be asigned the responsibility of a large area of Addewid, especially on Inniscren, and to be given a command position within the ranks of Cren's most loyal Cedawai. |
