Earth Life
Tellers have always existed on earth, starting with Merca herself, when she and Gure were placed into the Cavnod, but their significance diminished when writing developed, and it was reduced to mere entertainment by the time the "Age of Reason" descended upon Humanity. |

Addewid Life
Adroth Stones are found on Cuniliad Mountain, where the Henin hold their council once at the beginning of the Henin twelve breath breath cycle. These stones resonate with the history of the Henin, and for those who have been appropriately prepared for holding an Adroth Stone (Tellers), there is much to be learned about the Henin once an Adroth Stone has been procured. If anyone not properly blessed through the Ceremony of Holding, Coming in cotact with an Adroth Stone results in a state of Tanered (or Frozen Fire). They are frozen in the position the held at the time they touched the stone, yet they remain conscious, but they feel as though they were burning in the hottest of fire. If someone is successful in passing the Closgi Groves at the foot of Cuniliad Mountain they will hear the screams of the Tanered as they painfully attest to their plight, but there is nothing that any human can do to save them. Only the Henin can release someone from this state and that can only occur during the Henin Council, but there is usually very little interest in the Tanered on the part of the Henin. |
