Commentary
David Maple-Green [entry]
B.G.W Thunder within earth suggests the ancient primal giants, whose movements were thought to cause earthquakes and bring back primitive conditions.
This being the midpoint of the Fu Hsi sequence, it signals the second half of the largest cycle, represented by the one solitary change made to this Accomplished Kua to move into the Fifth Octave (Sun), with Kou.
A.H. "Fu" plays an important role in the I Ching. It is one of the twelve Tidal Kua used to explain the cosmology of the changing of the seasons - to go around and begin again.

This is the inverse of the preceding Kua Bo (Falling Away).
