On Earth, death causes the associated Spirit to be cast adrift within the Cavnod where it is caught by the branches of Yew trees surrounding the Cavnod and passed from one Yew tree to the next until it is placed into the Tavod river, where the Cervin will construct a body for the newly arriving Spirits by taking leaves from the Adeg, Gwaed, Cnawd and other trees to form the flesh and blood of the Addewin bodies that the spirits will occupy. These bodies are genetically identical to the bodies that the spirits occupied on Earth, except that the Addewin version of those bodies are perfect, without the blemishes and debilitating conditions that the spirit's earth body was born with, or that were obtained through accidents and abuse.
