The daughter of Loruhammah, a priestess in the Cren's Temple in Magdala. Mag was born and raised in the Temple and recognized for her spiritual insight from the time of her infancy. Her mother's lover Miryam, also a priestess in the Temple, gave birth to Hian at the time of Mag's birth. Hian and Mag would eventually become lovers and give birth to Philip.

A coma-like state of cosciousness and existence, which occurs when someone in Addewid has gone too long without consuming some fruit from the Meithrin tree. This is the closest humans can come to "death" within Addewid, and they can always be revived when the juices of the Meithrin fruit are placed on the lips of one of the Maruid.

The first woman, who (along with Gure, was one of the first two humans created by Cren. Initially, Merca and Gure lived on Inniscren, an island in the middle of the Biola Sea on Addewid, but when Merca found a way through the Eithen Hedge (as suggested by Diawl) and gained access to the knowledge of the Henin by eating of the fruit from the Madru Trees, Cren rewarded them with life in the Cavnod, where they would experience, birth, death and the myriad twists and turns of existence on Earth.

Treven's sea guardians. These are creatures who are responsible for protecting the Biola sea and all that is within it. The Morhu have a similar appearance to the physical manifestation of Treven, but she is more brilliant and more variant in color.

A pair of whirlpools that spin in opposite directions and coexist next to each other in the Biola Sea.
There are four occurrances of muneva in Addewid:
Munev Goleth (Addewid's north)
Munev Durain ( Addewid's east )
Munev De ( Addewid's south)
Munev Gorle ( Addewid's west )
The four munev are equidistant from each other in a circle around Inniscren, each being the same distance from Inniscren. This circle formed by the munev is called Hesbrid's Ring, and it serves as the Addewid home of Hesbrid. The water surrounding Inniscren and within the circle formed by the munev is called Treven's Bay. Treven's Bay is the Addewin home of Treven, whose Addewin form is that of a dolphin.
